Top Cashback Credit Cards

Here we go with the top UK Cashback credit cards.  This is the type of credit card you want if you really want to maximise your spending habit.  And remember to get the most out of any reward card, whether they’re air miles or cash back, you need to pay off your balance in full at the end of every month…

Don’t get on at me about telling you that all the time either because at the end of the day you can make a credit card pay you back for all the hard work.  Back to the cashback cards then.  The latest one on the block, and by far one of the best cashback credit cards you could get your hands on at the moment, is the American Express (or AMEX for the lazy ones).

American Express now offer a massive 5% introduction rate cashback on your purchases!  Now that’s not bad if you intend on buying something pretty big is it?  What about a holiday or something like that?  You work out the 5% of a really expensive holiday, it’s got to be worth it hasn’t it (depending on the introductory credit limit you’ve been given).

However, after this 5% honeymoon period the rate goes down to 1.25%, which is still damn good by all standards, and well worth getting your hands on.  This is a pretty difficult card to get your hands on though, and you really have to be in the earning bracket of at least £30000 a year to qualify for one.

There are some excellent ways to maximise on the 5% cashback though.  This can be done by applying for a joint cardholder (you must be in a trusting relationship for this of course).  When you do this both cardholders get the 5% cashback bonus!
