You don’t think you can enjoy the January sales? Well why not? Go out and use your damn credit card. You can usually pay for it all later anyway, never mind worrying about the monthly repayments. I’m still paying off last year’s January sales….
This can work really well if you have a store card too that allows you to collect loyalty points etc. I have a few of these and i always fully exploit them to the maximum level if i can. After all, what are credit cards for if not to occasionally indulge yourself? And this is the perfect time to do that. So come on, the kids have had their Christmas (no doubt on credit), so why don’t you have the new year on it too? It’s only fair.
If you haven’t got a credit card yet, you won’t get one now, you’re too late. But you can apply now to try and get one so you can go mad next year. In fact this is probably the best time to plan a credit card spending spree. If you get one now and use it a little you will build your credit rating and perhaps even your maximum spending limit before next year! So go ahead and do some credit card comparisons; i’m sure all the companies have thought of this already so all the offers will be out there somehwhere, you’ve just got to find them.
