Having the right attitude to your balance means being able to keep it at a level that allows you to pay it off at the end of each month. This is the only way that you will ever be able to make a credit card work for you; there is no other way on earth. Credit cards are specifically designed to get you into debt and to make money for the credit card company; don’t think for a minute that they want to help you out of hole, this is the furthest thing from their mind.
So when i say that you have to pay off your balance every month, this is true, and the only way you can make them work. This is because when you buy things on your credit card, like perhaps your weekly grocery bill, you should put that money to one side so that you are able to pay it back to the credit card company at the end of the month. You will have earned all the points or cashback that your shopping has allowed you to earn, and yet you will have to pay no interest at all if you do it this way.
You can indeed have your money for nothing if you manage your credit cards in the right way.
