Credit Card Watch

Credit card watch would like to offer a little advice to all you credit card users and shoppers, and also to all you lot who are on the look out for a new credit card, or perhaps even after your very first…

The advice might seem simple to all of you, and there really isn’t much point in me telling many of you but i’m going to go ahead in just in case i have the chance to help someone who doesn’t know all about the pitfalls of credit cards.

There are a few things you should do, and the first one is that no matter what credit card you get, no matter what the interest rates are on purchases when you get it, do not, under any circumstances neglect to pay your balance off in full at the end of the month.  This is the only real good trick you need to know to keep your head above water in a potentially violent financial climate.  And if you can do this after your first month of owning a credit card then you’re going to have a great, very happy future with your credit card.

If you pay off your balance at the end of every month (without fail) you’ll never have to pay any more money for the cash you borrow – it will all be interest free.

Another rule, while i’m on the subject is to never, never use your credit card to get cash!  They will charge you a fortune to do this and you can’t get it back until you pay up.
